The Santos de Cartier large model features a Manufacture automatic 1847 MC movement and a striking design that blends steel and ADLC across both the bezel and case. Its steel crown is set with a faceted black synthetic spinel, complementing the black dial and black steel sword-shaped hands enhanced with luminescent material, all protected by a sapphire crystal. The case measures 39.8 mm in width with a thickness of 9.38 mm and is water-resistant to 10 bar (approximately 100 metres). This model has passed the 30-metre water-resistance test applied under a pressure of 3 atm/30 metres, though swimming is not recommended for any watch, genuine or replica.
